Are You Ready to Rumble?

Posted on

KH_JabReady to Rumble is the first Specialty Class offered during the Fall 2015 semester.

Each Specialty Class requires participants to sign up in advance so that everyone has a reserved spot and completes the class as a team.  Since the group of participants stays the same, the instructor is able to progress to more challenging skills and workouts over the course of several weeks.  It also allows participants to get to know one another and hold each other accountable.

This class will start with the very basics – what is a punch and what is a kick. It will incorporate Karate, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Kung Fu & especially Boxing. The progression of this class will allow you to improve your technique – longer punches and higher kicks. Some classes will be non-contact; some we will use the punching and kicking pads.  This program will increase your cardio conditioning and fight heart disease…and all the while making you “Ready to Rumble”.

Karen has been teaching MMA cardio classes for almost 5 years.  She loves the way teaching MMA makes her feel and makes her participants feel – strong and empowered!
