Interested in Rock Climbing?

Then do I have the perfect opportunity for you.

On either September 9th or 10th, you can attend a rock climbing team interest meeting at 8 p.m. at the rock wall in the rec.

This team is open to all levels of expertise, even if you have no idea what a “hold” is. You’ll learn how to climb, learn the terms of rock climbing, and learn the best spots to climb. There is no gear necessary either.

After the interest meeting, the meetings for the rock climbing team will be on Wednesdays from 8-10 p.m. However, enrollment is open and you can join at any point during the semester.

According to the OrgSync website, rock climbing activities include indoor climbing competitions, strength and technique activities and climbing related games. There are also dues to be paid in order to join the team.

For more information, you can email Martin McQueen at martin.c.mcqueen@tcu.edu.

We’re also continuously bettering ourselves as flag football referees as that sport moves into playoffs, and we’re only just beginning indoor soccer and…
